The Oahu All-Inclusive Pass offered by Go City® is one of the most valuable tools that I have personally used on multiple trips to Oahu, Hawaii. Not only does the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass provide me with incredible savings, it allows me to see and do everything I want to do on my own time. Something new that adds immense value and convenience is that the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass can be used across non-consecutive days, which gives you more time to explore at your convenience.

Background

The last time I was in Oahu, Hawaii was in 2020. It’s been a few years and I’ve been itching to travel to one of my favorite places in all of the United States. This time however, I would be traveling with my whole family which included my partner and three kids (two kids under 2 and one 11 year old). Planning travel can be a headache especially if you’re a planner like me and have trouble going with the flow. But with kids in tow, this is a whole different trip. I wanted to streamline my planning and cut down on some of the stressors by utilizing the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass which I had the pleasure of using in Oahu in the past as well as in Las Vegas.

Why The Oahu All-Inclusive Pass by Go City®

When you’re planning a trip and want to truly explore a city, the costs can really add up. This is especially true with places that are tourist hotspots like Oahu. For those who have never been to Oahu, it’s the most popular Hawaiian island due to the large number of activities such as catamaran sailboat rides, ATVs through the jungle, surfing, kayaking, museums, breathtaking hikes, and more. However, the cost of these activities can really add up, especially when you have a larger party with you.

I chose to get three Oahu All-Inclusive Passes for two days (two adults, one child, none needed for the children under 2) for my 2022 trip to Oahu. I chose the two day pass due to not being able to do some of the premium attractions offered on the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass because of the children under 2 with me this time. However, the last time I was able to pick a premium attraction, my partner and I really enjoyed the Sunset Catamaran Sail. It was one of the most memorable activities for my partners’ first time on Oahu.

So, why the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass? To put it simply, all of the attractions offered with the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass were something we interested in seeing or doing since they are popular attractions but also to save money! I’m truly a frugal traveler at heart. If I’m able to save a little here and there, you bet I’ll be making those money saving choices. Plus, you can’t beat the convenience of sightseeing on your own time, which the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass allows you to do.

How I Used The Oahu All-Inclusive Pass This Trip

Since I only had two days to see and do everything I wanted with the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass, I wanted to really focus on the attractions that my family wanted to go to as well as get my money’s worth. I’m sure I could have fit more into my two days but with jet lag and toddlers, I had to plan some nap time. Below is what I did on my most recent trip with my two day Oahu All-Inclusive Pass from Go City.

Day 1

Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch (Half Day)

This was truly such a gem, especially since we had children with us on this trip. Imagine your dream summer camp that you’d want to go to as a kid, now picture it on a beach with hammocks, beach chairs, umbrellas, showers, volleyball, and all the beach toys you can think of such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and more. This is as private of a beach as you can get (with toys included) without going too far in Oahu.

We arrived at 7:45am as instructed, checked in with the Go City app, got our wristbands, drove to the dock where we would get on a boat that would shuttle us across a pond to the Secret Island. There is a shuttle to take you from Kualoa Ranch to the dock if you don’t have your own transportation.

Upon arrival at the Secret Island, we were gathered and given directions to the bathroom boat (yes it’s a barge with bathrooms on it!), changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, provided life vests, and some additional rules/tips. Soon after, we were free to go explore the island, play with all the beach toys, enjoy the warm water, and whatever else we wanted to do before it was our time to return.

There is also a fish pond tour that no one else signed up for so we essentially got a private boat tour around the pond. It was definitely worth it! The Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch is an absolute must do attraction.

Tip: Pack a cooler with some snacks, food, and drinks! Don’t forget your sunblock and after sun lotion too (some SPF 30 and after sun lotion is provided).

Polynesian Cultural Center

Upon arriving and parking at the Polynesian Cultural Center, I checked in at the ticketing booth, again with my Go City app, and proceeded to check out all of the amazing shops outside of the Polynesian Cultural Center. We went through the ticketing area, got our bags checked, and were free to roam the six different “islands” which highlight different island nations such as Tahiti, Tonga, Samoa, Aotearoa, Fiji, and Hawaii.

At each “island”, there are different types of activities that you can participate in with a small group of other visitors. Some activities included ancient games, dancing, fishing with a net, try some poi, and more. There are also other highlights such as a huge canoe on display, getting a temporary tattoo, talking to villagers from that “island”, as well as catching some of the shows and dancing throughout the center. Don’t miss the boat tour through the Polynesian Cultural Center

Tip: Be sure to grab some shrimp at the famous Giovanni’s shrimp truck just 6 minutes away from the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Day 2

Waimea Falls at Waimea Valley

This morning, we grabbed some unique menu items that you can only find at the McDonalds in Hawaii such as the Local Deluxe Breakfast Platter and FRIED apple pies (don’t sleep on these items). Then we made our way across the island from Waikiki to the North Shore which was about a 50 minute drive.

Located on the North Shore, Waimea Falls is a lush botanical garden with a paved walking trail that ends in a gorgeous waterfall that you can swim under. There are changing rooms and life vests provided at the waterfall at the end of the trail. Waimea Falls opened at 9am and is located across the island from where we were staying so we needed an early start to the day.

After parking, we made our way to the ticketing booth and scanned our QR codes for our Oahu All-Inclusive Passes on the Go City app. We walked in and were taken aback by the beautiful lush scenery in front of us. Waimea Falls is great for all ages since the path is paved and is stroller friendly!

After about an hour of admiring the plants and flowers, we made it to the waterfall. We did not go in but we took advantage of the seats nearby to rest our feet for the walk back while taking in some family photos and admiring the waterfall and those who wanted to brave the cold water.

Sea Life Park

After about two and a half hours at Waimea Falls, we were headed to our next stop, Sea Life Park. This place is located on the leeward (east) side of Oahu. After a 30 minute drive from Waimea Falls, we arrived at Sea Life Park, paid for parking (not included with the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass) and made our way to the ticketing area, pulled out my phone, got the QR codes scanned, and headed inside.

This was a great stop with younger kids as there are so many things to do. We grabbed some lunch before we headed into the aviary where we handfed some birds (birdseed provided).

After that, we checked out the playful dolphins nearby in the center of the park. We then made our way around Sea Life Park, taking in the breathtaking views and admiring the Makapu’u lighthouse. Shortly after, we found ourselves at the outdoor playground where the kids burned off some stored up energy.

On your way out, don’t forget to see the sea turtles and small tide pool area! We spent a total of two hours here and were spent for the day.

Unfortunately for us, we did not have the energy to stop by any more of the incredible attractions on Oahu within the two day window of our Oahu All-Inclusive Pass. However, I am definitely planning to see and do everything available on the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass one day soon!

Value Break Down

Note: Prices displayed here are accurate as of 03/23/22. See the official Oahu Go City website for the most up to date information and prices.

Below is a list of activities we did while using the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass. This list includes the cost of the activities alone without the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass.

  • Secret Island at Kualoa Ranch = $54.40

  • Polynesian Cultural Center = $76.25

  • Waimea Falls = $20

  • Sea Life Park =$44.99

  • Total: $195.64

The total for four activities across two packed days for one adult would have come out to a total of $195.64.

  • Cost of an adult 2-day Oahu All-Inclusive Pass = $139

  • Savings: $54.64

With the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass, I was able to save $54.64 per adult and we got to see and do everything we wanted in those two days. If only there were more hours in the day!

Final Thoughts

Go City is a company that I’ve only had good interactions with and their customer service is top notch. I love knowing that if I am unable to get reservations for the dates that I need, Go City will work with me to see what the best solution is. There is really nothing to lose here.

The Oahu All-Inclusive Pass’ value is something that I can not highlight enough. Not only do I get to do the things I want to do, I know that I’m getting much more than what I paid for. There is really no other product out there like this that I am aware of. After doing just four activities within my two days with the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass, I not only broke even, but saved an additional $54.64 that I would have had to spend without the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass. Of course, the value you get will vary depending on how many days you choose and how many things you can go do and see within those days. Just do the math and see if this is right for you.

I can not wait to see what else Go City will add to the Oahu All-Inclusive Pass in the future as well as check out the many other cities which Go City has passes for as well.
